How it works
Treatments can be deeply transformational and relaxing. You may feel something during a treatment, even during a distance treatment or if you don't believe that you are sensitive. Some people see colours, visions or feel sensations in their body during treatment. Treatments can be very active and life-changing or may be profoundly relaxing and induce deep rest to help you access a level of healing that is not possible while awake. The organs of the body can undergo a detoxification of up to 15%. Please remember to relax after the session is done, as the Reiki healing may continue to work through you over a few days.
During a treatment
On your first visit, you'll out a short form before lying down fully clothed in a relaxed position. Each bespoke Reiki session is unique, focusing on what's needed at the time, allowing what's blocked to surface for release and introducing a high frequency of healing to re-energize the body, mind and heart. I use light touch, or no touch, depending on your preference, over ten positions including the head, throat, chest, abdomen, pelvis, knees and feet. I incorporate intuitive sense, sound, movement, guided release of a painful or emotional issue or healing for spiritual issues for your optimal healing. If you'd like to ask questions or discuss an issue, we'll do it prior to, or during your session rather than afterward so that it can be consciously and best worked on while the Reiki energy is strongest. To prepare for your session, please wear comfortable clothing and remove jewelry and metals. Reiki can elicit a system detox or flush so please keep hydrated with plenty of water after your treatment and give yourself time and space so the healing can continue its work.
Reiki Treatment (Currently offering Distance Reiki by phone or Zoom. In-Person visits in East Toronto appointments are paused.) Distance Reiki
In a Distance Treatment, at your appointment time, please find a quiet, private place to rest. I can facilitate your treatment by phone, Zoom, or remotely if you aren't able to connect live (you may be in hospital, or in a very different time zone from Toronto, for example). In this case, I'll e-mail you a confidential Reiki Report following our session. If we're on Zoom, please turn off your camera so you can relax fully. You can have me on speaker, handsfree or have earbuds in so we can both communicate and hear each other clearly. I may guide you to relax more deeply, share findings or messages, facilitate a healing visualization, chakra balancing, active release or past life healing with you, or it might be very quiet and peaceful, depending on what comes up and what's needed in the session.Services
Reiki for Kids! Many of my clients start bringing their children and teens to me for Reiki -- and kids love it! Reiki is gentle and I spend time before the session getting to know your child and establishing rapport with them for the most comfortable, fun and helpful treatment possible. I welcome children of all ages, energy levels and temperaments. Children generally require a 60 minute appointment, and the rates are the same as for adults. Read more about Reiki for Kids!
Akashic Soul Path Reading and Distance Treatment live by phone (Canada) / Zoom. The reading is 30 minutes, and I'll share messages for you at that time based on your priorities. After the reading, you'll lie down comfortably to receive your Reiki healing, during which I'll guide you the same way as above.
